The Green Goddess Wild Sauna offers a unique way to unwind and reconnect with nature.
A vintage wood fired sauna truck, set on Arran’s best beach at Blackwaterfoot,
just steps away from the clean, clear waters of Drumadoon Bay.

The ‘Green Goddess’ Wild Sauna.
We lovingly designed and converted a 4 wheel drive 1960’s Bedford Army truck into a fully equipped 14 person mobile wood fired Finnish sauna & even included a separate warm changing room to shelter from the changeable Scottish weather.
When hand crafting the truck we used a combination of reclaimed timbers (including wood from a 50 year old whisky distillery washback ), then covered the finished structure in layers of natural canvas and sheep’s wool insulation. Finally we fitted a professional Finnish wood-burning sauna oven capable of reaching traditional temperatures of 100°C for an authentic Nordic experience.
We welcome individuals, private groups and large events to join us for an Arran Wild Sauna experience.

Find us on the sands of Blackwaterfoot beach with direct access into the clean waters of Drumadoon Bay with stunning views over the Kilbrannan Sound to the Mull of Kintyre.
Listen to the wind, the waves, and the crackle of a real fire. Smell birch leaves and natural wood oils; absorb the heat, then brave the cold Scottish waters.

Organising an event on Arran ?
For group events the sauna seats up to 20 people comfortably - 14 inside the main sauna plus another 6 in the warm pre sauna room.
Add our two large whisky barrel cold plunges and you have a full wild Scottish sauna experience.
We can be hired for private events and special occasions, and can even include open fire wild catering.
Other activities such as group paddle board hire / instruction can be arranged.
