The Green Goddess Wild Sauna offers a unique way to unwind and reconnect with nature.
A Vintage truck lovingly converted into a traditional wood fired sauna, set on Arran’s best beach,
just steps away from invigorating cold plunges in the clean, clear waters of Drumadoon Bay.

We carefully designed and converted a 4 wheel drive 1960’s Bedford Army truck into a fully equipped 14 person mobile wood fired Finnish sauna & even included a warm changing room to shelter from the changeable Scottish weather.
When hand crafting the truck we used a combination of reclaimed timber (including wood from a 50 year old whisky distillery washback ), covered the finished structure in layers of natural canvas and sheep’s wool insulation. Finally we fitted a professional Finnish wood burning sauna oven which reaches full sauna temperatures.
The result is the Green Goddess - a unique Wild Scottish Sauna experience.

What better way to enjoy the Isle of Arran and our West coast Scottish climate than in a wood fired Vintage Sauna truck in one of Arrans most beautiful locations.
Find us on the sands of Blackwaterfoot beach with direct access into the clean waters of Drumadoon Bay with stunning views over the Kilbrannan Sound to the Mull of Kintyre.
Listen to the wind, the waves, & the crackle of a real fire. Smell birch leaves and natural wood oils, absorb the heat, then brave the cold Scottish Sea… it’s a life experience.
Organising an event on Arran ?
The sauna seats up to 14 people plus another 6 in the warm pre sauna room and can be hired for private group events and special occasions.
Additionally we have a large hospitality Tipi with tables, benches, bar and firepit, just add our two large whisky barrel cold plunges for a full Scottish sauna experience. Group paddle board hire / instruction can also be arranged.
